Following up a from a few posts last year and which commuter/tour tyres to go for, @MCamb recommended the Continental Contact Urban.
I've now done over 1000 miles of commuting and not had a single puncture.
Pretty reasonably priced too when compared to marathon plus etc.
I plan to take them short term touring later this year.
