Also AppleTV has it's own OS which has very little cross over with other platforms so you need to be developing the TVOS app separately. Also there's the usual Apple fuckery of forcing you to use payment models in a certain way, forcing you to support certain features etc. which is hostile for anyone wanting to use TVOS as their primary platform. So I imagine most companies do what we do, hire a single contractor to build and support the TVOS which doesn't get most of the new features or updates, just keeps it working.
