Not sure if this should be posted in the snowboard thread, but thought casting it wider would be a good idea.
My snowboard boots are over 10yr old now. However, unfortunately they have not actually had that much use and in most places are still in good condition. The synthetic leather surface has started to separate and loose adhesion at wear points. I'd like to get another season out of them.
My initial thought was to clean, mask, and plastidip those areas. But now I'm wondering if I could buy some tough fabric and glue it on top of those high wear points.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also any suggestions on glue? It would need to be something that would remain flexible at low temps.
