Yeah to be honest when I weighed it I thought this too, it’s not on the top of my priority list. The forks I have already look great, I do like the look of the early 2000’s stuff when Carbon was still somewhat exotic so exposed carbon finishes were more fashionable. My guess is these forks def fit a 25mm not sure about 28mm but it might be a maybe. This might be a factor to nudge me to replace the fork at some point down the track

Very nice, can already tell this is going to be a good'un. Those CAAD5 forks are lighter than i remember and suit the frame well. Not sure i'd bother swapping for 150g but i do think the SI forks have better clearance if the back will take a 28c?
