Go on someone must have one they’re not using.
Possible weird swap / part exchange available… -

I have a non folding Raleigh Twenty that I was going to modernise* and sell.
*trim the bb down to 68mm and run standard bsa tape through it, facer up the headtube to take a normal 1” headset, possibly thread the fork or extend it for threadless. Can discuss options.
Could end up like mine but it has a custom fork/threadless headset/stem setup which would be £££.
If all I was doing was the bb chop and headtube facing I’d only be looking for about £75 for it. I’ve got a longer modern post, set of guards, a fork I stretched to fit a 100mm hub and a set I’ve not done anything with yet.
It could get canti mounts, u brake mounts, bottle bosses, you name it.

Thank you but I have a “few” Twentys. Some with modern BB, it makes a big difference. I’m looking for something a bit more exotic.

Just came here to say this is totally sick. Had visions of asking someone to do something similarly mad to an old Kingpin frame I’ve got kicking around - food for thought!

That’s a bargain if you’re looking for a modded Twenty…
Here’s one of mine…

Kingpin has standard threads and such doesn't it?

No worries at all.

Yup - standard BB and headset threading makes life easier. Frame is also a bit nicer (fillet brazed) but uses 451 wheels as default, so maybe a bit more faff in that sense

Yes but a Twenty is like the cockroach equivalent of a bike….

I’m still looking for a mini Velo, ideally a frameset with track ends but I’m happy to consider anything….

Is there a Raleigh Twenty race series? My first bike (actually my dad's!) at age 19...

Thank you. Ideally I only need the frameset as I have a lot of spare parts but definitely something to consider…

I don’t think so.
I have a “few” Twentys and ride 5000 - 7000 miles a year on them…

Cheers. I saw that but I only really need the frameset as I have the other parts and I definitely wouldn’t want the gears… (:

Ah, fair enough. You could always participate in the time-honoured forum tradition of “interested in X if you’ll split”.

Bring out your Mini Velos…. (:

What no mini velos?

• #22
Not sure if you want a new frame, but freshtripe currently have neutrino frames in all sizes?
-
• #23
Thanks but unfortunately that’s too spendy for me….

Cheers. I saw that but I ride fixed gear so need track ends or slide dropouts…
I’m after a Mini velo frameset ideally with track ends or sliding dropouts or possibly a hub geared Mini Velo bike.
