  • Yep! Get to a dealer or somewhere with the Bosch software, they should be able to plug it in to find the battery serial number. Fully Charged did it for me once, I can't remember if they ordered the key for me or if they just told me how to do it through Bosch. Got it done either way.

  • Kinda true, the key serials are nothing to do with the battery or drive unit, you’re relying on someone manually punching them in before sale to be accessible from the diagnostic. They’re also sometimes available from the receipt / invoice too. (Just pointing out so people don’t get complacent, always write down ur own key codes!). Replacement keys will be ordered through Abus too

    If not there you need to buy a new battery lock (and a new Dutch lock if you want your keys to be matching still)

  • There we go! I was close at least, ha ha.

  • my Abus front wheel lock which has matching key for batt lock broke, I contacted Fully Charged and they wanted me to book the base service for this which is like £75+VAT or something. Is it something I cant directly do with Abus? 90 quid feels like a pisstake.
