I reckon you could learn enough to hit the ground running by watching YouTube videos and spending time on Rekordbox setting your grids and cue points. It’s so easy it’s boring.
I think it depends on what you want to do to the music when you're playing; if you like chopping, looping and throwing effects all over the place and doing live edits of tracks that boring bit makes it a piece of piss.
