Maybe I'm going mad, but for a carbon pole made to order and at least partly produced in the UK it doesn't seem too bad to me.
If you want cheap just buy the cheapest trekking pole you can find and pitch the tent how god intended.
It was just a bit of a shock when I first saw it, tbh. I've no idea whether it's good value or not, but it's way beyond my pocket (for what it is).
