  • For real. Going into town on a Friday after work to spend 5 quid of my YTS wages on an lp.

    (On a similar Middle Aged Thread tip) I also feel like I missed the moment between lps costing around £11.99 and £20+ being the norm...

  • Give another year or so and it's likely to be £30-40 avg. for new releases.
    Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale... at £35-40 ish (even on Amazon, FFS!) last year will be the new benchmark. Sadly.

    I'm not pre-ordering anything any more. Just can't take the risk of spending £25-35 on something less than awesome.

  • The most recent Tool album is £50.

    2nd hand classical music - pound for pound easily the best value for money.
