God I miss the days of wandering into my local record shop and buying 12"s for £2.99 and albums for £7.99!!

For real. Going into town on a Friday after work to spend 5 quid of my YTS wages on an lp.

(On a similar Middle Aged Thread tip) I also feel like I missed the moment between lps costing around £11.99 and £20+ being the norm...

Give another year or so and it's likely to be £30-40 avg. for new releases.
Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale... at £35-40 ish (even on Amazon, FFS!) last year will be the new benchmark. Sadly.
