Excellent performance in 1080p and 1440p gaming
Low power consumption and heat output compared to previous generations
High-quality build with a solid backplate and Twin Frozr V cooling system
Overclocking capabilities and customizable fan profiles
Fairly quiet operation even under load
Good value for the price point compared to other high-end graphics cards -

Thanks, all very true, except this one doesn't have a backplate.
I'm pretty sure by default the fans turn right off when idling, or doing non graphical stuff.
Been an absolute trooper, ran it in my ITX case and never had overheating or noise issues. -

Hi,
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G (2014)
Served my mate well, served me well, finally got to upgrade, so this needs a new home.
Seems to go for £50ish on eBay, so £40 collected will do me (London SE6).
Not super keen to post, as I don't have the original packaging.
Here's an idea of performance with new games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n3cFo8Qm18
Here's a review of this specific model for noise & thermals: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-gtx-970-gaming/
Thanks for looking!
