Thudbusters are great. A bit expensive but take some of the impact of bumps.
I don't mind paying for something that works but it's a lot of money to punt on a seatpost so good to hear from someone one that's happy with it, riding with a broken pelvis seems like a horrible thought though.
@withered_preacher I've thought about it, I've always ridden on Brooks saddles but I've never tried the spring ones, I always assumed it'd be like cruising on a boat. Might try and pick up a cheap second hand one to see how it feels.

Thudbusters are great. A bit expensive but take some of the impact of bumps. I have one on my MBT after doing the SDW without and what a difference. They have elastomers according to your weight. I also have a broken pelvis at the moment and will be grateful to have a thudbuster on both my main bikes. There are other options out there, maybe even a dropper post? But I'm happy with mine.
