I have made the same assumption. Have a GX 10 speed derailleur which works great with an 11 speed SRAM bar end, so hoping the Force shifters won't be any different

I personally found the rain defence bibs to be very rigid and not very comfortable, returned after a few rides as the waterproofing wasn't worth the discomfort. Just in case anyone is considering them.
