Nicely.
Honestly thought he'd be caught, but didn't bargain on those chasers being so completely rubbish. They were within six seconds at the point I posted that (if the time gaps were to be believed).

The better the chasers, the worse the chase.

Missed most of the race what happened to van de poel . Plus good to see the racist American blow it.

Fair point. Honestly thought J-V would have spent one of their riders to bring him back, though. May be a few choice words in their team coach tonight.

There is a "spoiler mode" which is supposed to take you to the "watch" page rather than Home. Although that doesn't seem to work either as I have it turned on and still land on home :(

They need to publicise that better. Thanks for info.

but it doesn't work! After some investigation I've found that setting my homepage to a sport like Tennis makes the spoilers I care about go away too.

Top tip, ta. I've not tested spoiler mode in anger yet but quick reboot of app it avoided the home newsreel.

It works on the desktop site.

I think the only call would have been to sacrifice Valter, if he could have brought the gap back which is questionable. And even then, you bring riders that have a better kick to the line than Benoot and it's not like KBK with a flat finish.

Ganna storming down a flat road is a sight to see.

Utterly ridiculous. Kämna just laughed at that, not much else you can do!

I hope the team time trial at Paris-Nice will be interesting today, everyone gets individual times.
Perhaps some more hero pulls and GC riders doing sprints at the end. -
• #43697
Was thinking about this and reckon that's only gonna be worth doing if you don't have that strong a TT team. Jumbo Visma would surely get better times sticking together as long as possible than, say, UAE, who might need Pog to sprint off towards the end. Can see Jumbo absolutely smashing this to pieces and gaining an unassailable lead, tbh.

Yea that could explain why Pogacar has been going for the intermediate sprints and Vingegaard hasn't bothered.
Does anyone know anything about that Jumbo Visma Prime documentary? It was supposed to be released on the 1st of March but looks like only in NL so far?
