All pros, the only negative will be a slight mpg reduction and not much space for anything else on roof but otherwise an absolute win for speedy and comfortable camping!
Pics of Forester also please...

slight mpg reduction
Is that even possible with a Scooby? :)
Tent box probably makes it more aero :D

I can get 39mpg at 60mph steady motorway driving. But yep, floor it for maximum smiles and it's thirsty.

I've never measured it - just seems the fuel gauge is inversly proportional to the speedo :)
I'll probably be letting go of mine soon. It just doesn't get used enough now I'm not racing much.

Yeah, it won't be for at least another month. I mentioned it before and a few people showed interest in it so I'll try to remember and bung you all a message if I list it.

Main cumbersomeness when setting up or folding down is the cover. So If you can find a hardshell tent that suits your needs it well be even easier.

I had one on my 110 for many years. Sold the Land Rover but still have the roof rack and tent.
I loved it. So versatile. The only drawback was getting up in the night for a pee. Otherwise it was superb. I had a spirit level on the dash and another in the console so I just made sure it was all level once I’d parked.
That and making sure I had a nice view.
The tent took about five minutes to put up with the fly sheet at first but it could be rolled up on the roof and if you left it partially fixed in place subsequent nights would see the tent up in a minute.

I'm tempted. An OxOverland 310. On the roof of my Subaru Forester.
Thoughts? Experiences?
