I really like corsa next but can't comment on durability.

Anyone know of a tyre that does..... That isn't a WTB 650c x 47 tan wall job, or panaracer gravelking slick 650 x 42/45c. Both not really upto the job, getting sliced all the time.
Customers after a 650c x 38-45c kinda size, tubeless, commuting tyre that can deal with thick chunky glass on a daily basis for tarmac + gravel bike lane bashing. Vittoria hyper voyager and Schwalbe marathon supreme were my go to, but both discontinued and both not available in this size.
Almotion 650 x 1.6" (35c approx) is closest, but not tubeless. IRC I think used to do a tyre but no idea what the name is. OR Conti top contact 2 or urban, but both seem to be tube type only.

These are not tubeless, but they are pretty bomb proof, if uninspiring

Panaracer Ribmo? Folding version is currently £32 at Fawkes Cycles (wire bead is £25)

Ace. Saw these but from the photo they look like 32c cx tyres. Gonna be similar to the WTB horizon + gravel king slick he already has. Unfortunately on this bike if you put it on 650 x 32c tyres (durano DD/plus or almotion etc), bikes gonna be low to the ground and he already gets pedal strike as it is.
Been impressed with vittoria's 2020> MTB tyre range, their commuter tyres still fall apart from UV/salt damage after 12 months extremely reliably, but MTB + CX/GX seems good.

how would you compare the 4 seasons to the 5000s?
thinking of making a switch

I've been searching for 650b tyres today and found these, heavy as fuck though.

Switching which way?
GP5000s feel quite a lot different back to back with 4 Seasons, but 4 Seasons are still nice tires relatively. Roll well while still are sturdy and grippy. GP5000s feel like a race tire - whereas 4 Seasons don't.

Conti are bringing out an 'all season' GP5000 apparently.
€96 per tyre though 😂

Opinions on 30c WTB exposures for a fixed commuter? Reviews on line are terrible for tubeless setups but seem positive for tubed installs.
-
• #9667
I had 36c. Hard wearing, but not fast and not a lot of grip in the wet. Tubeless wasn't the easiest, I guess a lot of complaints are of home mechanics unable to sit the tire or worried about seeping sidewalls, there's no liner in WTB tires.

If you have room, Specialized Roubaix Pro are pretty bloody good.

not a lot of grip in the wet
Similar to my horizons - think they’re the same just different size. I don’t have huge confidence but haven’t come off yet in the rain. Also agreed it’s just having to put more sealant in, and blasting enough pressure.
@jono84 I have an unused pair you can buy for cheap if you like I

I need new tyres for my bike. I have been using Resolutes which have been fine if not fast to wear on roads between gravel.
Any recommendations for something else?

Thanks all, wet cornering grip is something i'm after so these don't sound ideal, especially if they feel a bit slow.

Looking for some slightly loved 32mm road tires if anyone has some spares around. Ideally something that is moderately fast but nothing crazy —unsure what people are riding at 32mm tbh.

Looking for a well rounded 26" 2.1-2.3 tire for general city use.
Im quite happy with the Continental Contact Speed, but the largest version is 26 2.0 and maybe there is a lighter and more supple option out there?Conti Contact Urban seems well regarded, just not a big fan of the looks/graphics and the reflex stripes.
Anyone compared them to Schwalbe Billy Bonkers or Maxxis DTH?

Marathon Supreme
Found this discussion, seems to have been replaced by the "Marathon Efficiency", but now only start at 40c...
https://www.bikeforums.net/touring/1267940-schwalbe-marathon-supreme-poof-gone.html
Maybe just the regular Marathon (GreenGuard) is the option to go for now? Comes in a lot of sizes at least.
So to be specific about my question:
What tyre in 700c x 32mm, decent puncture protection and wet grip. Clincher, non-tubeless. Folding bead if possible.
Panaracer pasela
Continental contact urban (rigid bead only)
What else needs to go on this list?
Ideally no more than £35-40 per tyre.
