  • After some fast rolling, grippy tyres in 700X30c for my fixed commuter. Needs a decent level of puncture protection and will see plenty of wet weather riding. Do like the earlier G-one suggestion but can't find them in stock/budget and the last pair i had didn't last long. Will i be disappointed with GP5000's to meet the above criteria? Not in stock right now but Sigma doing the pair for less than £70. Alternatively Hutchinson or Vittoria?

  • I like my Vittorias. 1 puncture in a couple of months of commuting, fast enough and grippy! Not tried the GP5000s to compare though. You're welcome to borrow them for a week or so if you'd like to give them a go.

  • I am looking for similar and came here to ask if the answer was still Continental Contact Urban?

  • Gp5000 aren't exactly commuter tires.

  • GP5000s won't last long commuting at all
