  • Interesting isn’t it, there were lots of big things like that in the area once and now there’s barely any trace of it. I’ve always been curious about the building at the top of elm grove that’s covered in graffiti. Last I know of it it was a cafe but it must of had more of a purpose once upon a time. Got a feeling it had something to do with the tram system.

    Anyway, a new tag…

  • thx; that's got to help

still a toughie tho... quite near the seafront I'd say

  • I'd have to agree with you.

  • As a weekend treat: The building on the other side of the road of the building in the background is pretty famous.

  • That rules out Kemptown I reckon.

  • Barrack Yard / Prince Regent Swimming Complex

  • Would you believe.... I actually tagged this doorway on page 20 of BBT.

    And @Dogtemple got the tag...

I completely forgot about the green doors. I did consider that corner briefly when you posted the zoomed-out shot, but discounted it because of the gap between the buildings on the left and the buildings on the right. I knew that there was no such gap in that corner. But... your camera angle... you just managed to omit that linking bit.

  • new tag...

  • Haha I have no idea how I got that. I’ve been looking at the new tag of this and thinking I have no clue or any chance of working that one out. I think I was pretty committed to bike tag back then I probably rode around all day until I found it

  • I think i know this. New graffiti but also a clue. I didn't get out earlier enough to check it out before work so I'll head out this evening unless someone picks it up today. Shitty riding weather today though

  • Curious.....what's the range for this tag malarky? I ride out of Portslade

  • Portslade is fine!

  • Newhaven to Adur? River to River?

Malarky is meant to be fun after all so not too many rules needed.

  • I would consider this to be roughly the catchment area, with possible extensions out on the Downs etc. during the summer.

  • is meant to be fun after all so not too many rules needed

Yes, we aren't too beholden to rules on BBT. Just some common sense needed; I have plenty of tags in mind which I'm saving up for summer, 'cos if I tried them on now it's unlikely that anyone would want to go out there and get them. (I'm still waiting for warmer and drier conditions to get the old MTB out and head for the Downs. Itching for the season to begin.)

I'm all in favour in tags way out east for the folks who live that way, as well as tags out Portslade way and further for our friends in the west, like @jackbepablo
