I'd like to do a non-ungabunga, no spirit summons run.
Same, enjoyed my ruins greatsword build at the end of my last play through. Although non spirits summons sounds difficult!

yeah. I think I will just not do Mohg. I was stuck on him for like 8 hours and that was with the mimic tear summon and the specific tear for him. I didn't go to the halligtree in my playthrough as well as I felt "done" with the game so would like to explore there and actually tackle malenia.
Perhaps a run knowing where to go (I looked stuff up as little as possible in my first run) will mean less time spent and thus more capacity to explore more content.
