I just assume that as social media goes into meltdown, that other people are aware of the story.

If you’re not, Antonio Tiberi of Trek-Segafredo has been convicted of killing a cat, which belonged to the San Marino Minister of Tourism, with an air rifle, and fined €4,000.

Who happens to be the former head of state. I mean, it's dipshit move after dipshit move. That said, it's Trek-Segafredo so they'll have him tweet an empty apology and complete some "training" about how not to shoot at animals and say it's all over.

I don't really see why his employer has anything to do with this.

If I shot my neighbours cat and was fined, my employer would presumably have nothing to do with it, other than maybe sacking me for being a dickhead.
