FOUND: strong rear qr disc brake wheel

  • After a 32h rear wheel for disc brakes and qr 135mm axles. Ideally cheap!

  • Would consider a pair of wheels if easier

  • Just spotted this - are you still looking?

I have wheels off my Vagabond tourer which are Shimano Deore hubs, destickered rims which I think are a Mach1 make, QR front and back, 6 bolt disk. Pretty sure 32h. Not tubeless.

I've replaced them with some tubeless rims.

They are quite old - I got them in 2013 or 14 or so. But still running true and have been used for MTB and fully loaded touring so I think they count as strong.

Would not want much for them, it would just be nice to move them on to someone who can use them. I'm up north so would probably have to post.

  • I've got a HUNT 4 SEASON DISC WHEELSET in black that is now surplus to requirements, all running fine and pretty true as far as I know when I last used them. They were on my Fairlight until they got upgraded and running fine. Shimano freehub, QR, centrelock disc.

Collection would be N8, I guess around £115 would do if you're interested. Can get pics later, though they need a clean I think!

Edit - they may not be 32h, in fact according to what Hunt seem to say about the current version... let me go and check! Further edit - yes, 24h/24h so not 32 thought that's what I'd have assumed they were! Available if of interest nevertheless.

  • If you’re still looking then I’ve got a set that’ll fit the bill.

Unknown hub but Mavic 319 rims, 135mm qr and XD freehub.

They’re free if you can pick them up.

  • Thanks all. This was for a friend and he found something elsewhere!
