If that’s a red card we need to stop playing football

at least we aren't as bad as chelsea
one small ray of sunshine in our current storm -

If I’m right, Chelsea haven’t scored since 15th January. It’s hilarious.

Newcastle just not good enough. Played the occasion with too much emotion too.
Right result.

£500000000 well spent.

I just relayed this ‘fact’ to my Iron mate. ‘They scored against us two weeks ago’ put me in my place.

I should’ve said 11th Feb. Aside from that, no goals. Still hilarious.

Pulled up the BBC sport app “Man United End 6 year Trophy wait”
🙄 The heart bleeds. Newcastle haven’t won a trophy in over half a century.
Although from a really petty “we also got in a big money owner and have not only failed to win anything we’ve actually got markedly worse” perspective I’m a little relieved the toon didn’t do it on their first try.

Feel certain Chelsea will have massively got their shit together by the time they play us in mid March.

They had a nice party on Trafalgar Square though. Pillocks.
Was in a pub on Chancery Lane on Saturday afternoon, and was wearing a retro Zidane/Juventus* top. Caught a traveling Newcastle supporter’s eye and he thought I was also a Newcastle supporter. Explained I was actually a United supporter.
Then he clocked my accent (Yorkshire) and gave me the third degree on who I should and shouldn’t be supporting. Fucking audacity of anyone who gives it all that to anyone.
*idolised him when I was younger - only bested by Ronaldo and Messi, IMO.

Yeh, United were absolutely flying when I started supporting them in 1984.

contrarian proto-football-hipster then. Either way that geordie guy was right to question you.

It's none of his business. None of anyone's.
And, to be honest if it upsets people who shouldn't really worry about it... that's a bonus.

First time I've wanted pisti back.

• #164742
The real issue here is that no one over 12 should be wearing football kit outside of a pitch.
-
• #164743
Correct.

Ha!
He actually thought I was an early 2000s Sulley Muntari.

What has this place become?
A Yorkshire person moaning they can’t support Manchester United and saying it’s no one’s business.TEH RULEZ ffs.
-
• #164747
Next up Derby and Forest fans deciding they’re ok with Leicester winning.
-
• #164748
Fuckin' plastic.
Can't be a proper Yorkshireman because he's not telling us how bloody brilliant Yorkshire is - "God's own country, tha knows" - at every opportunity.

• #164749
Well this took a turn.

Fat Ronaldo I hope.
In other news it’s the bigotry Derby brought to you by domestic violence and illegal songs.
The sooner the FA accepts them into the league the better for Scotland.
