My outback averages 13L/100km, so unless you can stomach that look away.

If I were you, I'd just buy a mondeo for the motorway. Then when you pass probation sell it and buy the fun car.

Wonder what it would do at 2000m up over mountain passes, hopefully more.
The Subaru makes up for its fuel drinking with its total lack of maintenance needs and reliability.
