• According to the ebay link you shared, it did sell for less than £350, subject to fees. It looks like whoever the ebay seller was, they were aiming to recoup their costs rather than make a profit. The margin is so very slim (if any margin at all) that it would be a terrible return on investment and time, otherwise*.

    *And risk, given that it is eBay.

    It would only be disingenuous or 'slightly disingenuous', if the eBay seller informed the forum seller that they didn't intend to sell it, but as we don't know what dialog took place, how can we know.

    Your pitchforking seems to be based upon an entitled aggregate of assumptions plus bad maths, hence why it is comical. ;-)

  • Nah recouping costs would be an easy post here to say it didn't work for me, anyone else interested, not putting it on eBay for £450.
    Doesn't matter whether the intention was to buy and flip, it's just shady to try and sell on something for more which you got for a deal on here that someone else could have benefited from
