From the ebay link provided; it does look like the frame sold at less than £350, given the strike through the sale price figure, suggesting a best offer price was accepted. Given that eBay fees are 12.8% + £0.30, and assuming the forum seller originally sold the frame for £250 (possibly with postage on top)... then do the math; it doesn't look like the work Adam Smith here.
Disclaimer: I am nothing to do with any of the parties, or the frame, involved; but just found the pitchforking comical.

Who knows eh, it was originally up on eBay for £450 and it may have been taken down once he possibly got a bit of heat.
In any case, slightly disingenuous at best to even try and flip it immediately so I don’t think the pitchforking was comical.

According to the ebay link you shared, it did sell for less than £350, subject to fees. It looks like whoever the ebay seller was, they were aiming to recoup their costs rather than make a profit. The margin is so very slim (if any margin at all) that it would be a terrible return on investment and time, otherwise*.
*And risk, given that it is eBay.
It would only be disingenuous or 'slightly disingenuous', if the eBay seller informed the forum seller that they didn't intend to sell it, but as we don't know what dialog took place, how can we know.
Your pitchforking seems to be based upon an entitled aggregate of assumptions plus bad maths, hence why it is comical. ;-)

The thing is 250 £ was underpriced. There are a few flippers roaming lfgss so it was always a possiblity.
Too bad but at least its no lingering on ebay forever at 600£ BIN -

Nah recouping costs would be an easy post here to say it didn't work for me, anyone else interested, not putting it on eBay for £450.
Doesn't matter whether the intention was to buy and flip, it's just shady to try and sell on something for more which you got for a deal on here that someone else could have benefited from -

The whole point is; it doesn't seem to have been sold for any more money, than it was bought for.
Secondly, unless the OP is a business, then this was a private sale, that doesn't need to uphold distance selling rules. So if the purchaser bought the frame, and changed their mind and wanted to return they probably couldn't. Ebay is a much easier platform to sell a bike-related asset, than the LFGSS forum, so if the buyer needed their to recoup their funds quickly; it would be most logical to use ebay. You would be a total failure as a reseller, if you sold an item; that you intended to turn a profit from, within a few days, for the same price that you paid.
I agree; I wouldn't buy items on these classifieds unless I needed them for personal use. However, this isn't 2007 anymore when the classifieds were a place to barter parts for beers etc. It has now become a largely unregulated global selling platform, with a huge volume of anonymous and casual users, not connected with the early days of the forum or it's etiquette.
There are likely more worthy targets, of your socioeconomic internet justice, who could be harangued online; if that's what floats your boat. ;-)

If 'The whole point is; it doesn't seem to have been sold for any more money' yet the original asking price was £450 (£200 more than the purchase price), surely your point is moot?
If you rob a bank but you accidentally drop the money whilst making your escape are you suddenly innocent of your crimes because you didn't turn a profit?
It's entirely possible that they bought it with the best intentions then changed their mind but a simple 'changed my mind, anyone want this for what I paid' post would have someone at your door to collect within a few days. That's not more taxing than creating an eBay listing and offering postage. Original intention or not the idea was to make money.
