  • I’m riding to Luxembourg in April what 32mm tubed tyres should a big bloke with some luggage buy (120kg all up weight)?

  • Which route are you planning? I had a lovely four days going from Hook of Holland > Arnhem > Aachen (Vennbahn was awesome) and down to Luxembourg. PS are you dibble of Death Skateboards fame?!

Worked well for a loaded tour in Sri Lanka, with a fair mix of decent roads, potholed roads and dirt tracks.

  • Can't speak for your route into the country, but once you're in Lux, the bike paths and roads here are pretty good so more or less anything will be fine as long as it's not too fragile

  • I'm using Vittoria Corsas (in 30mm) at the minute and rate them. Nice and fast and only had one flat in a few hundred miles. Combined bike and rider weight is probably closer to 75kg though. You're welcome to borrow them to give them a try if you fancy?
