Very true. I actually like the old Manhattan ones. Really wasn't a fan when I first saw them a few years back, the mix of shapes and the Roman numerals on the bezel but there's something about them I'm drawn to. The gold chronometer versions with linen dial and coin bezel are also really nice.

Yup, if it was only “a little” thinner.

Do they come up heavy then?

They’re the best part of 15mm thick (and very slab sided). Which isn’t great for a 39mm watch.

That is chunky, when compared to the BB58, hmm was looking at GMTs yesterday to complete the 3 watch collection but they does seem higher than I remember but then my Hanhart is 13mm

Seen a lot of dials but not this almost camo style from Rolex.

All the Tudor GMTs are very thick because the Kenissi-developed movement they’re using is a real chunky boi. Even the Seiko 5 GMT is over a mm thinner.

Make sense why some of the older GMT are 50m water resistant.
