I don't mind switches on cables so much, but I'm not keen on having to pick the light up to turn it off as per the Hay portable jobbies.
@mrbaxter I think I could deffo risk one or two of the AliExpress fellas for those prices, they don't look bad in the customer review photos.
Having to pick up a lamp to use the switch is quite stupid. But then I have always been a hay sceptic.
On paper I absolutely agree with you, but now in practice it just isn't a friction point at all. Much better than reaching down the side of bedside tables for switches because my proprioception knows exactly where the switch is every time on the PC
