Unlikely, because new prices have gone up so much. They'll probably settle around whatever the equivalent new RRP is, maybe a bit less depending on condition, but while there are still extensive waitlists I expect they will hold fairly firm.
I think stuff that isn't one of the most desirable sports models - so anything that isn't a Sub, GMT, or Daytona - will fall more, relatively.
(Also the rarer vintage stuff is a different matter.)

This is the question for me. How many people on those waitlists will drop off if they can’t see a profit or at least their money back?
I’m sure you’re right about the sports models holding up better. People were asking towards £9k for Air Kings last year when no one could get anything, they’ll settle back to well below retail once people can get the watch they actually want again.

That look so premiums, seemed hit or miss for Seiko to be spot on or way off.

Agree. This one has a bunch of visual interest that you don't really even see in pics but it contributes to it looking really quite "nice". Eg the white of the dial is slightly metallic/pearlescent. Then the sheen of the greyed hands and markers, the fractionally green lume, the sharpness of the hands (ridged, not flat), and most of all the crystal, which has a subtle dome to it and a facet at the edge. It does a bunch of really nice reflections and distortions when you see it from an angle. I also like the brushed rehaut.
Oh, and the bezel click is lovely. I was a bit unsure about whether I prefer the alu bezel insert on this compared to the nice engraved steel one on the SPB143 but I think using anodised alu means it can be thinner/narrower.
FWIW I think the black version (SPB317) maybe doesn't quite have the same feel. It has that thing with the minute and hour hands that Seiko have started doing on dark dials, where half the hand is brushed (so it always shows up against the dial) and half polished. It looks weird to me. I'd much rather they brush the whole of the hand.

I’m leaving for Singapore in a few hours, suddenly a called GMT looks useful in order to keep track of the time back in the UK.
What would a good option be?

Vacheron Overseas dual time

Sounds like an affordable and easy to obtain watch?

Having Googled it- £90k is probably a bit ambitious

You've been pontificating the gmt-master(/2) in this thread for about as long as I've been posting in it. At this point is anything else going to scratch the itch?

At the lower end of the scale, this Amazfit keeps track of different timezones and counts your steps/heart rate. Old school always-on display and 1 month battery life too. Can't imagine dammit with one though! £39 from Argos

Yeah id agree, one thing I have noticed is that a lot of these watches resellers and gray market have youtube channels and are trying to keep the prices up hight by saying never been higher etc etc etc.
Bear in mind that a new Submariner Date is now £8650 at retail.
