Quote like the idea of this new Sinn T50... I'm all in for ti at the moment. Although looking at the AUD price it's way overpriced

I quite like their GoldBronze (stupid name) T50 version
at 41mm, its the perfect size. (Personal Experience May Vary)
But at EUR5000, its not a whimsical decision either

By way of comparison -
That's a much more "correct" looking example, in the UK, for under 10k. No box or papers, and no way of knowing from a C24 ad how much of a bitsa it is - the pics aren't really even good enough to see if the dial and hands are relumed - so it's still probably overpriced but it's an awful lot better than that W*tchfinder piece.
Alternatively, a far better condition and much more honest-looking late model SEL 16710 at the WF end of the price spectrum (and again, I'm not saying it's worth the asking price, just for comparison): https://swisswatchtrader.co.uk/products/rolex-gmt-master-ii-16710-coke-bezel-for-sale-2007

£1k more and you can get a mint black (non-gaudy) cerachrom - https://swisswatchtrader.co.uk/products/rolex-gmt-master-ii-116710ln-new-old-stock-nos
Even includes the original receipt for the amount of €4000 😂

The results of the Seiko 5 "customize" campaign are in - basically they made an online customizer and the most popular user-created designs in each region are being made into limited editions.
L-R: Japan, Americas, Europe, Asia (plated with real gold, lol).

I like gaudy... Thank you very much
If its mint NOS, i can kinda see why you would pay the equivalent of a new one... IF a new one cost 15k... Its a good looking watch.
But an obviously used, and not a rare example, for 5.5 times the price of its rrp ( SIXTEEN YEARS AGO) - all of this bs... get in the sea (not you obv... youre great)

Happy Friday all.
This is still running at -45 s/d despite Seiko giving it a full service under warranty (it was -1.5 s/d before it got magnetised somewhere) so I think a trip to Alsal might be on the cards.

It's a correction, not a dip. I think it could be corrected a lot more tbh

times we live in
5 digit Rolex is where it’s at for me. 4 digit usually looks better, but feels too fragile for daily wear. 6 digit are just clumsy in comparison.
Sadly that watchfinder link doesn’t work for me…
