Is this too big for me? - Say yes
-
• #3
I think it’s probably for people who ride a 58 or larger.
-
• #4
Thought so

Do you have a geo chart?
What are the rack and bottle cage mounting options?
-
• #6
Here you go, size 21: https://geometrygeeks.bike/bike/specialized-carve-expert-2012/
Two bottle mounts in frame. Rack mounts on seat stays.

PM me a reasonable offer if you’re interested but think I’m off on the price.

Anyone interested at £550 without pedals and saddle, before I split it out?

Thanks! Yes, seems like a bargain way to get into XC racing or prepare for a summer of bikepacking, etc.
-
• #11
Could be down for wheels, groupset or forks if you split
But agree, good price

Could you wait a few more days? I’d much rather sell complete.
PM me an offer on those bits if you fancy.

I'm desperately looking for a XC bike to get started and this would be perfect but i'm afraid it's a tad too big for me :( I'm 180 and usually ride 55/56 road bikes.
-
• #19
I’d put it in a hot wash for you if I could.
-
• #20
Been going back and forward on this one since it's not quite what im looking for but could probably do the job?
What's the tyre clearance?
-
• #21
I have a 2.25 in the rear with ample clearance, but I wouldn’t go bigger, esp in muddy conditions. You could probably put a 2.3 in the forks.
PM if you’d like to take a look.

Great bike, but needs to make way for a new build.
It’s not pristine but it runs very well. Perfect for long days off road. Dare I say…gravel?
