I had never considered anything sram until I saw the price difference between Rival and 105 di2. It’s almost a £500 difference at retail which is basically the cost of another mechanical hydro groupset. If you can get it trade, rival doesn’t cost much more than mechanical which is its main selling point to me. Chorus is too expensive when you can now get ultegra for half the price.
Multiple batteries is surely the price of wireless? But cheap looking shifters and heavy cranks…

Spend the spare money in some sweet cranks, SRAM red or rotor.
10 cog is a non issue, I'd say it's a benefit for everyone but the strongest riders. Big rings are cool though
