Have never had one of these but don't understand the appeal - what am I missing?

In a small kitchen they are good for access. And my mum finds it useful as there's less bending over/forward with a heavy pot.

I use mine as a shelf so don't want to pay the premium for hide and slide. Plus it's neff only.
