if you've never had a chest-height oven, it may never have come up – but children run through kitchens, and oven doors have sharp corners

I guess, but how much time is your oven door open for? I only ever open it, chuck things in and close it again - hard to imagine it ever needing to be open for long enough to tuck the door away

shrug in the scenario i was referring to, I was the child. I guess its stuck with me, so I kind of like the idea. Not fancy enough for a chest height oven myself though so its kind of moot
