  • I love the reference but that's far too much money for that example, IMHO. The case is heavily overpolished and the dial and hands are clearly service replacements (very probably the crown, crystal and bezel insert too). A 1996 16710 would have had a "T<25" tritium dial originally.

    If it was £5k it would be a nice way to get a Coke GMT on the wrist but it's not remotely an "investment piece".

    The case has been badly refinished/ over polished. All four lugs are much thinner than they were. So much so the spring-bar protrudes thru the lug top left.

    Probably why it wears smaller than you imagined.

    I’d avoid that one.
