What a stable!

All lovely bikes but the Somec wins it for me, incredible! Do you manage to ride each bike through the year?

Strong post. Those black Shamals and carbon UT cranks go great on that dark green Merckx.

Thanks, yes the Somec I am a bit precious about as that Mario Martini paint job as amaze and a work of art, so that only sees dry summer days. But everything gets ridden, but usually with some regular wheels.

I've been pondering on how to compliment you on the 90s ensemble you got there.
But I give up ¯_ (ツ)_/¯, I'm in awe. -

Strong signature style!

Strong collection. I am particularly envious of the white trans Alpes flite

Leave some nice bikes for the rest of us

This is done for now I think (apart from sorting out the weird angle on the rear mudflap). New bars and new, fatter tyres finish it off. Really enjoying riding fixed again properly for the first time in years!

Not much I'll change now!
One euro every time I said this to myself in a bike context: 💰💰💰

Ha, it needs new pedals but I think that's it! Could do with some longer mudguards as well. Maybe some nicer grips. Maybe a paintjob. New headset wouldn't hurt. Seatpost clamp could do with being a bit jazzier as well.

In similar vein, I also think I have finished the all city dropout for the foreseeable.
I might switch the crankset from silver deanodized rival to black garbaruk to black rival to silver garbaruk but thats it.
Fork is a trials fork, arcade something. Happy I found a trick style fork with disc mount with mounts for mudguards and rack relatively OTP with only a small extra hole and some bolts and nuts.

What forks are those?

Looks like Inspired Arcade forks

@coventry_eagle
^ This indeed..
The inspired outlet shop on eBay has some shopsoiled for reasonable prices, also a cheaper model which is guess is the same but without the dropout gizmo-system so only for 9/10mm axle.
Would nab another pair were it not for Brexit and duties and shipping prices through the roof. They are 405mm a-c, so good for 28" despite being designed for 24/26" trials bikes

was really tired of my ugly 2019 tcr pro so wanted to swap it out for something more exciting... but felt that an aethos was way too expensive atm (and the TCR is still an awesome bike..). So a guy in my cycling club offered to paint it for £100 (!). came out super well and i also treated it to a 2nd hand 12sp groupset (off here). so feels like a new bike. really pleased with how it came out; just need to tweak a few things and get a new saddle sorted

In an attempt to shorten the reach on the Condor, i swapped from 38cm -> 36cm handlebars. I'm trying the Specialised Short Reach bars for the time being. If i can find any carbon bars in 36cm with 65mm reach I'll upgrade to those. Also swapped the stem to an earlier version to match the seatpost.
Cleaned away all the commuting grit on the rock lobster, which is still serving as a faithful runaround.

New old frame day, 1989 Specialized Rockhopper Comp.
Not really sure how I will build it up, but I leaning to a Rock Combo kind of vibe. The paint have seen better days but structurally it seems fine except for some rust.
