I understand your point. Rapha in its hayday was pretty unbeatable. The way they started to drop quality and service after acquisition was a sad day for a fan boy like me. I would have loved to wear Rapha for the rest of my life. I understand the need to find growth, but the new designs (Palace), new market segments (mtb) and overall attitude ruined the brand many loved.
PS. Chinarellos are pretty lame, but open source carbon frames are awesome.
