Yeah, obviously shook up and not the kind of thing you want to happen to anyone, let alone a child but they recognised one of them despite balaclavas and they got a visit from armed police not long after.

Srsly, if you have access to a gun and want to be a crim, you really want to be setting your sights higher than mugging 14-yr old girls who can identify you in the street.

Hope the kids are ok though, that's an awful experience.

Dunno if it was a real gun or kids playing gangster, maybe the one they didn't recognise is 17, in which case he's fucked his life up really. It's gone to shit round Stoke of late, been rough for years but the rough bits were getting better a decade ago and now are much worse.
