Can someone talk me through how to fit a pocket door into a structural brick wall? Thanks

Maybe this helps give an idea what it looks like - that’s a double pocket door. So as above says you build a separate addition of wall for it to fit within.

As below - they come in a metal cassette which you line with ply and or plasterboard. Portman is my go to.
