A bunch of old shit for free*

Here are a bunch of things that you can have for free* (well, for the price of postage, unless you happen to live near Reading. I’m not buying stamps to fund your addiction.)

1. Pair of Xposure (ikr) levers. They’re really green. Really green. going to monosprocket
   
2. Sora brifters. 3x8 I think. No nasty road rash. Hoods r good, etc. going to geoffnotsle
   
3. V brake pads. NOS. Two pairs for a full stop.
   
4. Nerver (France) chainset. Could be ‘50’s. Definitely 52t ring, 170mm cranks, two of the original bolts, no nuts, threads good, no pins (but if you’re buying these you know what you need.) going to AppleTree
   
5. Well Chromed chainset. Bought this at a Sheffield cycle jumble. Never used it. Weights nearly as much as a fucking bike. Quite short cranks at 165mm. going to AppleTree
   
6. Baylis Wiley axle. No. 12 going to AppleTree
   
7. Downtube cable guide. Chrome is quite rough but if you’ve braze-on-free old bike running a double, this is exactly what you need. Apart from the fucken bolt is missing. My. Life.
   
8. Stronglight 48t big ring. 50bcd I think. going to AppleTree
   
9. LX long cage mech. All the adjusters and bolts are here. What speed you ask? I literally have no idea. going to monosprocket
   
10. Deore shifter. The front one, for a triple by the looks. going to monosprocket
    
11. 8spd cassette. Made by the world famous Golden Sun and ridden by dads and mums on all the best clone bikes. Nearly as heavy as item 5. Screw on, 13-28. Never even fitted.
    
12. Ergotec 2 seatpost. 26.4. Umm. It’s silver. Going to HarryK
    
    

Will take this lot to the Reading Bicycle Kitchen if no one on here needs this in their lives.
