More not terribly surprising news, but Schumacher to Mercedes as a reserve driver.

Didn't realise they allowed pornography on YouTube

Came across this nicely put together short this morning on the notorious Group B rally series. Not a huge amount of car content but the classics all feature and you cant go too wrong watching a pissed off Michael Smiley in a 6R4 with breakfast.

Johnny Herbert and Paul Di Resta not going to be part of the SkyF1 team this year. Pretty happy about that change

Mohammed bin Sulayem making friends with F1 again. Mysteriously, an old blog post came to light during this...
Speaking about things he did not like, Ben Sulayem had said: “Women who think they are smarter than men, for they are not in truth.”

I hope Hamilton has some backup from other drivers in terms of standing up to Ben Sulayem now that Vettel's left. Seems everything he says is a load of shite.

He's had a lifetime of brainwashing - not too sure how much he coughed up for that role...

Biased Ferrari fan here, but Ferrari are winning the 2023 F1 car launch championship

Not digging trend of having more black/bare carbon bodywork on this generation's cars. Even Ferrari are joining that group with a messy livery. What's with that random shape on the side pods?

What's with that random shape on the side pods?
Could be trying to mask some kind of aero bulge or contour? Assume you mean the black patch behind the Ceva Logistics logo? The Shell logo on the side pod seems to have some curves under it on the circuit photos? IDK?

Mercedes winning the livery (or lack of) for me. Ferrari also looking ace.

Williams will look very silly if they put a tyre on the wrong side now

I like the Duracell battery though

One of the nicest sponsor integrations I've ever seen on a car.
By contrast, those red highlights for the Orlen sponsorship have ruined the look of the Alpha Tauri IMO.

Getting ready for the electric era?
Don’t care much for the non silver arrow.

Red Bull winning the ugliest livery championship for the umpteenth year in a row then.

Alpha Tauri has my vote. Post-3rd race Alpine not far behind.

Flow-vis pics of RB19 showing spectacular levels of flow attachment!

Would love for a team to turn up to testing with a misleading flow-viz livery

Could they use a UV flow vis that they can just inspect back in the garage under special lights?

I had a similar thought also, seems odd to be giving away that info to all other teams. But I guess the real important data is comparing it to their simulations, so they're only giving away one part of the useful data.

I wonder if they’d normally just do this in the tunnel, but they’ve had tunnel time heavily restricted this year so maybe they’ve got no choice but to do it the old way at the track!

Williams (at the very least) have also been doing it. Maybe they all accept that there's not much to be gained from hiding in the age of high-speed high-res digital photography
Vasseur -> Ferrari
Seidl -> Sauber
Andrea Stella -> McLaren promotion
