I don't know about that, but the whole "bottomless ink" trend really winds me up. It isn't bottomless, your computer just orders it for you.

My vacuum has broken and parts are obsolete. Only got a small flat, no carpets, can anyone point me in the right cheap direction for next domestic dream? Thanks

I like boxer shorts from runderwear, they are very soft and have silicone grippers.

Late reply, but ordered a pair of these. They're great, really comfortable. Ordered three more pairs for rotation on the bike.

Merge m?
In acrobat that's easily done: miniatur view in one file and then drag and drop.
Alternatively there are online mergers.
Let me Google that ffs..;) -

I thought you did in the olden days. Have you tried selecting them all and hitting CTRL+P?
-
• #116160
Turns out you can't.
Work also won't let you install acrobat.
And our 'Merican brethren that supplied the docs passworded them and forgot to tell me it.They have now merged it into one.
Thanks for your input!

Can you use contactless on the train to get to Luton (not Luton airport parkway) from St Pancras? Everything I can find online only refers to the airport stop.

I don't think so. If you could it would be listed as a destination at https://tfl.gov.uk/fares/find-fares/tube-and-rail-fares/single-fare-finder

Cheers. I bought a ticket to be on the safe side.

My partners got drop bar advent x on her new bike, but she has quite small hands. Microshift make a reducer for some of their levers, but not these.
Has anyone made their own spacers to reduce reach for other levers? Thinking of just cutting a bit of foam or rubber and double sided tape it in?
-
• #116166
You might struggle to get double sided tape to stick to rubber, you'll probably be better off with foam - the sort that sleeping/yoga mats are made of. (closed cell polyethylene foam)
Or, if you were able to make a couple of small moulds, fill them with silicone - the sort of stuff you use round the edge of your bath, and when that has set, bond them in place using the same silicone. I think the silicone one will be the most robust of the three. I've got some spacers from Shimano Sora levers which are surplus to requirement. PM me a postal addy and I'll put them in the post to you - see if you can make them fit. -

Sugru.

That's a good idea.

I'm not sure what that is, but will Google.

Is there a specific pedal/clipless pedal thread somewhere? Alternatively, has anyone used Look X Tracks? My S Tracks are coming to the end of their life and I don't want to replace them with something equally unserviceable so wondering if the X Track might have the benefits of the nice float of the S Track whilst having replaceable bearings.
Failing that, is there much of a functional difference between budget Shimano SPDs and higher end stuff? Or are you just paying for reduced weight?

Maybe the one you posted in 3 years ago?
-
• #116172
Ha, I knew I'd seen one but my search skills are clearly rubbish. Thanks!

Not enough to justify the price. My default position is PD-M540 because they're prettier than 520, but the price premium has grown substantially since I last bought pedals.
-
• #116174
Brilliant, thanks for the info. I might as well give the 520s a go at just over £20 a pair, if I like them I can always go for a posher pair on my posher bike.

I've got some you can have for a tenner, some use but bearings are fine.
Do shops that sell printer toner in store specifically choose not to stock toner for the printers they sell in order to promote sales of new printers? Is that a thing? It seems like it's a thing.
