Cheers. I'll probably have a quick go at that, it's a bit annoying as the rack now makes access a bit awkward.
-
• #12903
but did you get that framebag?
-
• #12904
Absolute madness. Might as well go for the T line ;)
-
• #12905
Quite - surely there's almost no rational market for this, as virtually anyone flash / flush enough to want this could or would bite the bullet and get a T Line. The people who want this and can't stretch to the T Line must be minimal at best!

Not sure if I like it!
Bag's interesting though; can it be bought separately? -
• #12907
I think they're banking on it being associated with David Millar.

Even still!

If they bring back nickel frame edition I'll buy another...

That's just actively endangering Brompton riders to get mugged.
-
• #12911
I had a close call in front of my flat and I'm now extra vigilant whenever I am on the Brompton.

I remember buying my gen1 for 1.7k with a cycle to work scheme :/
This hurts; as despite my significant efforts, I do not have such a scheme.

Titanium 4-speed on eBay for £6k, Brompton flipping!

Now you tell me!

So it arrived. I unboxed it and followed the instruction videos and managed to attach the saddle and then took it out for a quick spin around our low traffic neighbourhood.
My goodness me. It rides totally differently from the C-line. Much more stable and so, so light. The lightness probably more than compensates for the lack of two gears.. It is an absolute joy to ride. Very happy with it.

cough 9k
Marvellous. I can explain to the missus that I got mine half price

When it says "Handlebars - Low" on the chpt3 options there, does that basically mean S type?
-
• #12922
I believe so, as this is supposedly to be a racing bike
-
• #12923
Yep

• #12924
Nice!
Been away from the forum for a couple of months.
All black rims certainly add that something...

Interesting they've painted the Ti parts rather than leaving au naturel. Is that going to wear off as badly as the black ones?
At least it'll be less noticeable.
Also a CHPT3 costing 3k!
I remember buying my gen1 for 1.7k with a cycle to work scheme :/
