Upon closer inspection it’s a Wolftooth Tanpan which is meant to help mate Shimano road and mtb shifters/derailleurs. Seems quite pointless here given that the appropriate shifter could be used, since flatbars.

So… who made it to the WW factory sale?

The same Instagram account recently showed a suspiciously similar looking bike with drop bars. So maybe it was set up with drops but they snapped a pic with flat bars as well

This surly 1x1 on eBay made me think of this thread.

Rim brakes are disc brakes sticker is a nice touch. Actually not a bad price considering it looks like it’s never been ridden and the owner probably spent a small fortune on parts and custom paint.

Proper lols here. Closeups on the saddle/RD/front hub are my personal faves.

was surprised to find my 26 -> 650b conversion worked so well. Tons of clearance and after having thought there was no chance I could fit mudguards with 27.5x2.25 on, it turns out I was able to today after a little tyre haircut

Thanks. The stem is a Syntace Flat Force flipped upside down. The Di2 junction box fit perfect and I thought it gave it a vintage trials look.
