Can anyone suggest a way to install a little shelf on an angled ceiling?
Shelf is for a projector. First effort is imperfect:

I think you have the right idea already, any good at macrame?

Otherwise there are brackets for that:

Hinges to attach it to the ceiling and hook/cord to suspend the front? Shelf itself would obviously have to be deeper.

Thanks all, I think a deeper shelf attached with hinges might work, the proper mount looks like the sturdiest solution but this is a mini projector so doesn't have screw holes for a mount (and I'm trying to keep it as close as possible to the ceiling due to low head height).

That. Cover up the hole already made by the hook too.

Thanks, this was helpful because I didn't know my projector had a central hole for mounting - it was hidden by a sticker. I've now ordered something similar to this which I think will work much better than my terrible initial bodge attempt.

Thought that was quite ingenious actually! That said, there's always a proper solution to things available

Wobbly and twisty are not good things for a projector, I've learned.

No worries. I couldn’t find anything like this a couple of years ago so made my own out of bits.

Update on the terrazzo cutting, firm in Croydon have agreed to do it for £375 plus vat (depending on disk wear) no guarantee of not damaging frame or glass but as long as they aim not to that’s good enough for me, also proposed cutting down into it at an angle which makes sense as anything left touching the frame will probably be easy to snap off.
will see how it goes... -

I want to rewire a lamp, which I’ve done before, but I’ve always been disappointed with the quality of the inline rocker switches I’ve found - does anyone have any recommendations please and thank you?

I've not used the switches, but have got ceiling roses and cables from here before and have no complaints:

Bit annoying, but not too hard in the end. Quite satisfying.

Hive mind, a question. What should I do with the side of this cupboard? Paint it to match the front (probably Dulux white diamond matt), paint it to match the wall (probably little greene french grey) or make it a feature wall with live laugh love wallpaper?
Grey will look strange unless I also carry the white across from above the picture rail I guess

Yeah I'm thinking the same too. Can't see a way of making it not look terrible otherwise.

I was playing when the red red Robin comes bob, bob, bobbing the other day and realised they sing L³.

Maybe get this blown up on laminate?
Just read someone on a plumbing forum refer to VAT as "£300 with the Vodka and Tonic"
So good.
