Point is, £1500 for big-batch made simple steel frame and fork seems alot.
Exactly what I’ve been talking about with my pal. Over £1500 for a fairlight etc seems so expensive for what you get.
@rltlk maybe fishfabs could knock you something up 👀

(Of course, it's possible to spend 30h+ making a fillet brazed frame too, but it won't necessarily ride better or be stronger).
....and to get to that point you've possibly spent £5-10k on equipment plus monthly overheads haven't you.
