Holdsworth Stelvio flat bar tourer 54cm £180

  • Holdsworth (planet x) Stelvio tourer frame, (probably fits max 40mm) bought as a joyless commuter but have since found an even more joyless bike to ride.

Clarks Hydro brakes that need the cables shortening, 1x9 via ztto 40t cassette and superstar narrow wide. Tyres definitely need replacing, qr wheels are ok though the freehub moves more than I would like. Rims are tubeless ready. Cheap new headset and bottom bracket with a slightly weird chainline.

Have since removed the pictured rack and the frame is covered in mud because I lent it to a friend but otherwise in fine condition, some paint chips etc. Only hitch for most of you is that it's located in Cambridge, can meet you with it at a station or could potentially get it into London if you're patient. I'm also in Leicester quite frequently so could meet there also. Cannot be bothered to post it unless it really comes down to that.

    Go on?

  • It's an old Raleigh tourer with rim brakes and minimal clearance.

  • Hmm, this looks like it’s set up for a slightly taller rider than who’d normally ride a 56/58 sized frame?
I’m 5’10”, this looks like that might work?

  • Will pm :)

  • I'm 5'10 and it worked for me with a slightly different bar set up with more sweep.

  • Do you know if this is branded with a L or M size? Im looking at the geo on bike insights and wondering if they match up. Cheers.

  • Pretty sure it's an m if not an s. I'll have a closer inspection of the frame tomorrow. Can also measure a tube if you tell me which one.

  • I think clearance is pretty conservative, think "old croix de fer" so maybe 700x40

  • Well if you reckon it matches up to these numbers that would be a massive help

    Thanks

  • I had a look and I think the ett is 56cm. The actual top tube is 54.

  • 180 please take this bike away.

  • Still available?

  • How's the 1x9? Lose the chain much? Thinking of doing the same. Glws!

  • It's a superstar narrow wide and never loses the chain. IMO always get an actual N/W unless you've got a chain guide or front derailleur or whatever.
