I got 5.5% fixed for 5 years a few months back, and now I'm finally looking at exchange it seems high. Not much to be done now though.
You could change it. Go back to your broker and tell them to sort something better for you. You could not exchange until you have, but only you will know how far you can push your buyer and your seller. Will save you a fair few £££ I would have thought.
