You should have messaged me if you were popping to Swindon. Also, if it was Blade then you should have messaged me. I could have saved you the journey!

You know I’d sell my CBR600F3, right?

The white one with the blue frame, oh lordy.

Thanks for the leads both!

Still THE sports bike

When you give me back the 15 grand you owe me!

I installed a new 2-1 BC exhaust which I picked up at a 40% discount. Must have shaved 30+ lbs off the thing when including this and rear fender. Needs a tune now, but that's what winter is for anyway.

Any main dealer is a shambles now, my dad has a jaguar and during covid the main dealer came picked it up for a service. On returning they crashed it, said no worries well fix it all.
2 weeks ago he get a text saying this person is claiming your insurance for an accident you were in, calls direct line tells them the situation and then goes to the main dealer and he cannot speak to anyone they all hide like rats.
So he's passed the buck to DL and they have said they will sort it, but a shambles of a situation in all.

That's looking spicy!
It was fucking cold this morning. As usual, the Tiger's excessive heat output helped.
This bike likes running in winter. -

I just ride my bicycles all winter. Much more pleasurable and I get my tough guy in the cold kicks out while getting a little exercise. My work commute isn't more than a few miles anyway.

This is incredibly bad news. Hopefully some means are found to sort it.

Can't really be a surprise can it. These events are approaching the definition of uninsurable risk.

I finally sorted my UK full license out. To discover that bikes seem almost uninsurable in London (no big surprise). How are you guys doing it? Even an old 400 RVF in a fobbed underground carpark seems to be £2k

To be fair a 400 RVF seems to be an appreciating classic. I'm guessing insured value is part of the equation.
My first big bike was a 250 that just about ran, then went to a very unfashionable 400NTV. The one decent condition bike I've owned was stolen.
Sports bikes in London seem to get stolen all the time. I've had neighbours who've lost 3 bikes in a couple of summers. That's happened to a few different people over time.

That looks like a lot of fun. Still pretty cold though?

Was a balmy 10°c this morning, which was probably the contributing factor to getting out.

Lexham with massive excess and separate excess insurance.

That sounds warm compared to my run this morning.

• #22871
This looks excellent!
Do you have any photos with the fender on?
-
• #22872
Fender was the first thing to go, so fender on shot was basically a stock bike. Since you're asking here's the old exhaust and a different seat.

Module 1 test passed!
I get daily eBay updates on Daytonas. Still THE sports bike for me.
