Man I want a Bullitt. I have to move this year but my partner isn't willing to accept "space to store a cargo bike I don't need" as a deciding factor in where we end up.

Our absolute pleasure Kevin! Always happy to help fellow cargo bike riders and kid haulers!

Love the AUK sticker on that!

Is the safety belt a belt?

Winter you might want some sort of sleeping bag thing.

ooh, only just seen this. Strap them sideways across the cargo area & tape something reflective to the right hand side. It coud be the perfect way to insist on the proper 1.5m passing clearance

Added a cool cave pannier. Any recommendations for the best red reflective tape?

Diamond grade is the most reflective (>60% reflected) but it is quite stiff and doesn’t stretch, so don’t try to fit it around tight corners or compound curves. Pretty easy to buy diamond grade self-adhesive tape in various colours.

Think I'll add some to the cool caves. Thanks!

Secretly we moved so I could get a Bullitt. Having a garage is a very good thing to have in your life

These look great. Instead of a canopy (which I agree is overkill) maybe some type of moped windscreen could be adjusted to deflect the cold wind in winter. The one I have on the Yepp mini really helps my kid stay warm throughout the past two winters

I have one and I really like it, it comes in handy a lot. I haven't got a rear rack because I use it as a spare bike mostly but I've been tempted to get one. The basket is fairly big though and seems really sturdy. I would say at 192cm I'm kinda at the limit of the size of it. I got a really good deal for a used e50 lower end electric one, I think the range is 30 or so km but it's enough for me really. It is a little awkward to lock sometimes with a u lock with the small wheels but I think I've figured it out now.
I've bought hydraulic brakes to put on it, and I want a cafe lock as well because it has mounts for one.Just be careful if you give it to a friend on a long term lend that if they take off the basket and try fix a puncture that they don't lose the bolts ha

Haven't found the four point strap thing yet, so just have a normal belt going under the armpits and around the chest. As well as the lap belt

Better than my inner tube solution.

I don't suppose anyone here has electrified a Christiana Light?

Need to be rid of this if anyone is interested

Ffs.
My Bafang has gone bang, I think. I’m getting a 12h error and the motor just fucking stops or starts when it wants. From what I’ve read this is fixed with a new motor controller (I think this means on the motor, rather than a new display).
Any recommendations here greatly appreciated.
Besbike isn’t here all the time it seems, I have the mechanics number so might just get them directly.
Otherwise I need to know if anyone knows anyone who can do this job locally?

What / where / how
Bullitt side bars only manufactured by August Bicycles. Lovely powder coated finish, perfect fit, keeps the bike narrow enough to fit through the laneway ninety degrees turn into the yard. The big canopy thing was overkill for me, the kid can just wear raingear. Thanks to Amy who sorted it out via here, and prioritised the order so I'd have them in time for a new school run. Top marks.
